Upon applying and being accepted to Pasco-Hernando State College, a student will need to complete the “Florida Prepaid Authorization and adjustment” request form. This form can be used to authorize the use of Florida Prepaid, make adjustments to the number of credits being used or stop authorization to utilize Florida Prepaid funds. If you are authorizing the usage of Florida Prepaid, PHSC will bill for the total number of credits you are enrolled in unless a specific request has been made to only process a partial number of credits.
If you were a student in our Legacy WISE system and the auto application process was utilized, your eligibility was transferred to the new system. If you would like to make any changes to the application of your FL Prepaid funding, you would need to complete the “Florida Prepaid Authorization and adjustment” request form and submit it to student_accounting@phsc.edu.
Please be aware that depending upon the purchased FL Prepaid plan, FL Prepaid may only cover a portion of your tuition fees. Additionally, Florida Prepaid will never cover distance learning fees, lab fees and other miscellaneous fees associated with a course. The student must pay any remaining balance due after Florida Prepaid has been applied. Payment should be made no later than the published tuition fee due date to avoid cancellation of classes for nonpayment. Please refer to the PHSC College Catalog for all important related dates. Prior to the published fee due date each term, please log on via the Bobcat Student Portal to verify if there is a balance due. If you are unsure of how to determine what is owed after the FL Prepaid has been applied, please reference the “Checking your balance and making a payment” page.
If the Florida Prepaid College Program declines to pay any amount billed on the students behalf, the outstanding balance would then be transferred to the student and will become due immediately.
To ensure that your Florida Prepaid is able to be billed, Please verify that the following information is accurate in both your PHSC student account ( the Bobcat Student Portal) and your Florida Prepaid account:
- Name must be identical (JR., SR, III or IV, hyphenation)
- Social Security Number
The above information should match your state-issued identification (Driver's License, State ID Card, Passport or Birth Certificate).
To update your PHSC student account, take your state-issued identification to the Admissions/Record department.
